Phase I
BBL used the design-build process to deliver a new 100 bed student housing project to Paul Smith’s College located within Adirondack Park. These units were constructed to facilitate an increase of the student population on campus and also replace housing that was constructed for the 1982 Olympics in Lake Placid. The buildings incorporate Green design elements and were built to a LEED-NC Silver standard. The facilities also complement the historic and Adirondack tradition common to the College. Approvals were necessary from the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) and the State Historic Preservation Organization (SHPO).
