Kevin Gleason

CEO/Principal

Under Mr. Gleason’s leadership, BBL has grown to become one of the largest Design-Builders, General Contractors and professional Construction Managers in the U.S. and is consistently ranked among the nation’s Top 400 Contractors by ENR. A key participant in the daily operation of the company, Mr. Gleason leads all corporate strategic initiatives and plays a strong role in business development. Along with overseeing business administration, Mr. Gleason is actively involved in BBL’s work program, with expertise in each of the company’s diverse markets. Mr. Gleason began working for BBL in 1981 and has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. He holds a B.S. Degree in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Stephen Obermayer

Chief Financial Officer/Principal

Mr. Obermayer’s responsibilities include financial oversight of all corporate resources; strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management; administration of payroll and benefits; and development of financial policies and procedures. Mr. Obermayer joined BBL in 1993 and brings over 40 years of experience in financial operations to the BBL team. During Mr. Obermayer’s career at BBL, he has developed the company’s current financial policies and procedures. He also established and leads BBL Hospitality, the hotel and restaurant division that oversees BBL’s hospitality portfolio.

Mr. Obermayer holds an M.S. Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany and a B.B.A, cum laude from Siena College. He is also a New York State Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Bank Auditor (first recipient of the highest grade award on the exam nationally). He serves on several boards, including the Business Council of New York State, Capital Region Chamber and Center for Economic Growth, Fort William Henry Corporation, St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation, Capital District YMCA; and serves as the Board Director for Ballston Spa National Bank. He is also a Capital Campaign Cabinet Member for Colonie Senior Service Centers, and a past board member of Living Resources Foundation, JDRF, Boy Scouts of America Twin Rivers Council, Junior Achievement, and Siena College Board of Trustees.

Paul Trigger

Executive Vice President/Principal

Mr. Trigger oversees BBL Medical Facilities, and provides executive leadership for business development and marketing. He is a specialist in medical planning, design-build, and leasing, with extensive experience in medical office building development, project administration, design development and construction engineering. He maintains key client relationships with some of the largest and most influential physician groups, medical centers in the country, and directs all corporate strategic initiatives for BBL. Mr. Trigger holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, magna cum laude, from Union College and an A.A.S. in Civil Technology from Hudson Valley Community College.

Jonathan deForest, LEED AP

President/Principal

Mr. deForest is responsible for a wide range of construction management support and administrative duties including preconstruction coordination design development, documentation and review; management, contracting; oversight of personnel and project scheduling; quality control; and customer relations. He is experienced in a number of construction disciplines including estimating, sustainable design and site surveying.
