The Albany region’s largest health care system is starting construction on a new patient pavilion in Troy, part of a $99 million facilities plan.
St. Peter’s Health Partners is building the five-story building on the Samaritan Hospital campus near a recently opened $10 million, 570-space parking garage. The construction is an effort to modernize the facilities and reposition the other St. Peter’s hospital in Troy, St. Mary’s, as an outpatient facility.
BBL Construction Services in Albany is the construction manager on the project. The entire facility project is scheduled to be complete in 2017.
