Word of Life Bible Institute – Island Pavilion

The BBL team was welcomed back to Word of Life Island on Schroon Lake to build a new 11,000 square foot pavilion. The facility was constructed over an existing asphalt basketball court. The stricture is 45’ to the peak, framed with 7”x7” PSL columns and 56’ long scissor trusses, set on a 98’ steel truss. Finishes included, asphalt shingle roof, corrugated metal siding, high bay “gym” lighting, two scoreboards, and outdoor gym pads on columns. The project also included a large drainage plan and gutters. Additionally, Word of Life requested that fiber be run aerial on the island and through the ceiling of the pavilion, all the way down to their beach.
