BBL provided design-build services of a new two-story, 41,872 SF orthopedic-focused medical building in Zeeland, MI through a Design-Build approach. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to serve as a comprehensive orthopedic care destination for the region, offering a cost-effective alternative to hospital-based procedures. The building features three distinct suites: an orthopedic clinic with exam rooms, staff work areas, a break room, conference room, and two digital X-ray rooms; a physical therapy suite with private treatment rooms, an open exercise gym, and a “return to sport” training area equipped with artificial turf and a basketball court; and an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) that includes four operating rooms, two procedure rooms, universal pre/post-op bays, and a sterile processing department with sterile storage. By centralizing orthopedic services from initial assessment through post-procedure rehabilitation, the facility enhances patient care, operational efficiency, and overall value for the community.
