The transformation of New Scotland Avenue began with the construction of the Hilton Garden Inn across from Albany Medical Center. It has now extended down the street with four new office buildings including retail space and a parking garage. The New Scotland Avenue projects include: 16 New Scotland Avenue (54,000 sf mixed-use); 22 New Scotland Avenue (77,000 sf office building); 50 New Scotland Avenue (67,000 sf mixed-use); VA Office Building (33,000 sf administrative offices); and a 1,500 car parking structure allowing connection from 50 New Scotland Avenue to the pedestrian bridge crossing New Scotland Avenue to the Medical Center.
