Hudson City School District

Aging facilities and expanding student population made it necessary for Hudson City School District to make additions and renovations to the M. C. Smith Middle School. The district hired BBL to help them add 50,000 square feet of new space and to renovate the existing 80,000 square-foot school. The addition included classrooms, a cafeteria, kitchen and gymnasium. The project was completed on time even after the school board decided to make significant changes mid-project, adding the fifth grade to the middle school and renovating additional space.
