Hilton Garden Inn Troy

In 2008, BBL had identified the Troy market as an up and coming growth opportunity for hotel development. With Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute expanding to attract worldwide researchers, consolidation and expansion of health care services, and development of the Hudson River Troy waterfront, Troy was ideal for a Hilton branded hotel. Opening in the summer of 2009, the hotel has become an amenity to the RPI campus; particularly the expanded meeting space of the Rensselaer Banquet Facility. An amphitheater, beautiful outdoor lawn event space, 7,000 square foot ballroom and a Recovery Sports Grill on property fill a niche that downtown Troy desperately needed. Today, the hotel enjoys over 100% revpar index and recently completed the HGI brand required “Project Grow” launch.
