Doctors Community Hospital

On Doctors Community Hospital’s (DCH) undulating and restrictive site, the Hospital wished to develop an on-campus medical office building (MOB) to attract new physicians. DCH also wished to address its campus’ critical and limited parking capabilities. The Hospital selected BBL to develop the new MOB and parking structure. Since BBL is also a nationally ranked Developer, as well as a Plan/Design/Builder, BBL acted as the Hospital’s Developer Agent in securing new tenants for the envisioned office building. BBL designed a new 4-level 67-000 square foot MOB and took full advantage of DCH’s challenging site conditions by tucking the structure into the campus’ hillside. To provide convenient patient access to the new facility, a 4-level 373-car parking garage was designed adjacent to the MOB. The Imaging Center consists of MRI, Mammography, Diagnostic X-Ray, CT, along with a Linear Accelerator, Simulator and various support functions. Space for future CT accommodations was provided.
