Syracuse, N.Y. — A new owner who specializes in developing low-income housing has launched a $20 million rehabilitation of the troubled 305-unit downtown high-rise formerly known as Clinton Plaza.
The Mulholland Group, of Lake Success, bought Clinton Plaza in November for $6 million from Clinton Plaza Housing Corp. and Clinton Plaza Associates. It renamed the building The Royce Residence, after Royce Mulholland, the company’s president, CEO and owner.
BBL Construction Services, of Albany, is doing the work and QPK Design, of Syracuse, is providing the architectural services.
